3rd Sinulog Pyrofest 2011

The grand fireworks show down in Cebu -- 3rd Sinulog Pyrofest-- was held last saturday night at SM City with delegates from Oroquieta, Misamis Oriental, Dumaguete, Bulacan, and many more. It once again brighten up the skies and made the people shout for more.

The Contestants were:
1. Delumpa Fireworks, Iloilo City
2. St. Michael Fireworks Manufacturing, Sta. Maria, Bulacan - 3rd Place (Php 80,000)
3. Sky Glitters Enterprise Fireworks, Bulacan - 2nd Place (Php 100,000) won first place in the 1st Asian  Sky Wizardry Pyro-musical competition at Enchanted Kindom
4. Nation Fireworks, Sto. Niño, Baliwag, Bulacan
5. DSS Fireworks, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental - 1st Place (Php 125,000) also won in the 1st Sinulog Pyrofest last 2009
6. Digi Spec, Fireworks, Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental
7. Anisan Fireworks, Sibulan, Negros Oriental
8. Pyrohaven, Baliwag, Bulacan

The show started about an hour from its original schedule, maybe due to the rain, but even though the people still waited to witness such work of lights and sparks. Rain or shine, the contest started with the traditional drum rolls and people were shouting for excitement to see the long awaited presentation.

The Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. was also there to cover the event.

Some of us had difficulty taking pictures because people in front of us raise their umbrellas high enough to cover our little view of the sky. But Sinulog is all about that -- people, celebration, dancing, fireworks, and happiness.

Last 2nd Sinulog Pyrofest, Sta. Maria Bulacan championed the event followed by Bulacan and Dumaguete respectively.
