Visiting Temple of Leah and Sirao Flowers in Cebu City

After their construction, Temple of Leah and Sirao Flower farms in Cebu has been circulated a lot in my timeline on Facebook. It goes to show that Cebu has more to offer now for those searching for mountain-side attraction.

I was back in Cebu to complete my renewal for Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). So as part of the trip and not just a side-trip, is to explore some places people are buzzing in social media.

Temple of Leah

Like Taj Mahal, this is Cebu's version built in memory of the love to his wife-- Leah Villa Albino-Adarna-- Teodorico Adarna, the actress Ellen Adarna's grandfather.

This is the side of the temple where most cars would park, then a few walk upwards for the entrance.

In front of this roman inspired edifice is a also a roman-inspired fountain with 3 butt naked ladies and horses

The structures are somehow inspired by Roman architecture, or sometimes I feel like Greeky? No idea, but seems like. It is a mixed of sculptures, from angels, to golden lions, angels with trumpets, and some gorgoyle.

The trip is now easy, thanks to habal-habal, and Uber. It's easy to locate on map too, it is near to the Mountain View Resort, so locals are very familiar with it just in case you get lost. From JY Square, Lahug, you can hire a bike that can accomodate 2 passengers.

The Entrance Fee is Php 50 for adult and FREE for kids below 14y.o.

Boredsenses Mini-Review:
Still bored. It is a very nice attraction, but at this time of writing it is not fully finished. What you'll get is a very nice scenic view of Cebu City from up there and the unique architecture it brings. For sure, the best of this place is yet to come after the completion. 2/5

Sirao Flower Farm

Sirao Flower Farm in Brgy. Sirao, Cebu City
Was known as the little Amsterdam of Cebu City, Sirao is a baranggay that gained attention on social media when a little flower farm owned by  Severino Ople was shared on Facebook by selfie lovers. Since then, a neighboring farm opened to tourist and maintained the flowers instead of harvesting them.

Some parts are mostly green and less of the flowers.
Entrance fee is again Php 50 for adults and Php 30 for 14y.o. and below.

I don't know the flowers and I didn't write down the names, but I took some pictures. It's alluring in a way that it blends with the cool mountain air and a breathtaking view of the mountain areas.

Boredsenses.com Mini-Review
I'm Energized. The flowers were still on their way to bloom more, but  I enjoyed the scene and the landscape. These natural ornaments were refreshing and can really give a fantastic addition to your selfie.
And these are the selfies I took.

    1. You can park on the side of the road. If lucky, you can get near the entrance.

  4. I like that Temple of Leah building. Looks very majestic. Should be more interesting if we also see Ms. Adarna there when we visit, but that is wishful thinking. Flower garden we should wait till all the flowers are in full bloom to make the trip worth it.
